hi all!

basically I'm fed up of my amp rattling in my boot, but i dont want to screw it to the back of the seats etc as i might need to put the seats down etc

is there anything wrong with screwing it to the back or the side of the sub??

Put it in the bottom of a skip mate along with your haynes manual!!!

If you want to be able to take the sub out, (to use the boot) ... mount the amp on the side of the boot, then you don't need excess trailing cables. just the 1 speaker cable feeding the sub. Feel really clever, and put a speakon connector on the speaker cable. It'll unplug then! ... 150w (RMS) or less amp, you're OK to use 1/4" jack connectors instead.

i'm not the clever type so i think i will just chuck it on the side of the sub, but i have another idea, has anyone everthought to but the amp where the first aid box is in a mk4??

I'm sure someone must have thought about it but that depends on how big your amp is! amps like foxies (or mine soon to come) wont ever fit in that little gap!

either attach to the back of the sub or the underside of you are parcel shelf?

or make urself a nice build like mine. where it sits under a nice glass screen.

i was clever enough to put it in the first aid box twas 300w rms 1000peak and well lets keep it sweet, it overheated a hell of alot lol...

i put mine vertically, screwed to the back of the back seat.

1 each side, with the sub to be.. in the middle.

lots of room for my work stuff :)

Mine struggles in the gap i call a boot!

screw it to the back of the subb box. wont cause any problems at all. place it on your prcel shelf? woulnt damage anything.
