Stretch on a 7.5 x15

Featured Replies

Pic request really,

I'm currently running 175/50x15 on my 7.5 rims, and I'm just after a bit more stretch if possible???

What you got?

If you like to live life on the edge, 165/50. I can imagine you'd need someone skilled to put that on though and lots of bead sealer!

Thought about them, but my tyre fitter had loads of problems getting that onto the 7" :-(

Think there was lots of brake cleaner (flammable) and a blow torch involved!:ninja:

hahah, yeah, the Zenders I borrowed were a bit of a bitch to gt the tyres on apparently.

He had problem getting a 165/50 on a 7 LOL that is shocking

You need a new tyre fitter

You think thats bad, the dude who did my BBS couldn't get 165/50 on a 6.5" rim, he tried twice as well. HOPELESS!

That is shocking, even more shocking is the use of brake cleaner :? Find a tyre fitter who has a bead cheater, that will get them seated on the rim and make sure that they use bead sealant rather than just soap (soap doesn't set like sealant does).
