the winter wafter - poverty spec mk3 golf

Featured Replies

decided to look for a nice sheddy dub to take the heat off my corrado and to use over winter anyway. a daily rear end full of wheels and tyres, other bits and bats, plus coilovers, standard arches and 8 1/2 inch wide rear rims do not mix very well ^_^ .

the rado

£360 with tax and mot till next summer. 100k miles. barely run in. poor lad had just had it serviced for £354. new brakes, tyres, zorst. drives like its riding on silk compared to the rado. yes its a bit ratty on the outside, but thats what i wanted. no car washes for me! :D trying so hard already not to mess with it! got some black alloys that were for the corrado over winter just lookin at me. and suspension is ever so cheap now. and i got to keep my hands of them cans of satin black. :-p

looks like a 1.4 or 1.6????

my parents have got a 1.8 driver that i borrow sometimes. 165k, one previous clutch(due a new one soon), never missed a beat.

fantastic cars but fugly

fantastic cars no! reliable cars yes! never had a problem with mine in my few months of ownership, was dull to drive although felt a bit better on wide 16s, itll do for an alreet winter, id get cheap coilies for it anyway sell them after winter for a little profit loss and put yer winter alloys on it

and stab some holes in the exhaust so it can roar like teh rado
