Hey guys whats the best way to upgrade the suspension and break setup on an 89 mk2 derby. eg is it posible to fit a g40 or gt subframe? If they infact have wishbones? I do not know anything about the mk2 and so on. I have always ha golfs. HELPPPPPPP! :-D

easiest brake upgrade is upgrading to g40 spec. servo assisted, wider vented disks and VW11 calipers, then a decent set of pads, someone will probably correct me on this but i think you can use your origional carriers.

no such a thing as a g40/gt subframe, unless you mean the aftermarket ones such as these. bit pricey!
