8.5s up front and 9.5 at the rear I reckon

sounds good to me mate. any arch work involved?

with 9.5 on the rear most certainly. with 8.5 on the front, might get away wiht just rolled arches but not count on my word.

do you mean VR6 engine??

for some girth and a mean look i would say 8 on the front and 8.5 on the rear...check my car in the gallery

but for practicality i would go with 7.5 on the front and 8 on the rear

awesome stuff cheers guys! na man its a 2.3 v5 lump. gonna need as much help as i can with it :?

cool...have you got a build thread? good to see something outside the box

I've gone 4 7.5 up front n 8 rear 15s. original offset is 33 on a 6.5 rim so no idea of new offset but sure someone will tell you.cant show u as aint finished building them yet!!!! labour of love n dishes been a pain to get. :paranoid:

no idea if i need arch work until built with tyres but going 185/45 ditchfinders.

Looking forward to seeing this! I've always liked the V5 engine and to see one in a Polo will be great :D

i have 14x9's front and 14x10's rear but you need serious arch work ;)

I still reckon 8.5 and 9.5.

Pretty damn wide but it'll be worth it.
