I'm buying my wheels and tyres soon and dont what to make any mistakes. Just need to no whats the best tyre that can be stretched safely and works well when stretched. Brand name est. Got a buget of £55 a tyre.

Front Wheels: 14*8 tyre size 195/45

Rear Wheels: 14*9 tyre size 215/50

you were slating them on edition the other day!

I hate the stretched look of the toyo's. Dunlops are much better imho. Looking at the left side of the tires the Dunlop gives a sort of a C shaped stretched looks, whilst Toyo's give you a J-shape with the stretch mostly close to the bead. Dunlop gives a nice stretch all the way, so does the Conti's.

I don't think Nankang make any tyres suitable for 8/9-14

I love the stretch bridgestones give you but I dunno if they do them in that size.

I'm not very clued up on tyres.

i have 195/45/14 2x contisports and 2 other cheap budgets on my 7j

I'm purchasing 2 8j's and was also going to have 195/45*14's...

would this be a good match for a phatter look at the rear?

should i be looking for a tyre with sidewall protection? (with a lip).
