Tyre on the left is one of the 195/50/15's (Pirelli P6000), tyre on the right is a 165/50/15 Bridgestone Potenza. From this angle, you could be convinced they were completey different radius tyres. 30mm difference in width, psssssh i don't think so.

think what it would look like next to the 195 65 15 that came on my teledials,

now on our camper van

Jeeze that is a bigg difference! i want to see a 155,55,14 next to a 195,45,14.

and also the 155,55 next to a 185,60 as thats what iv got on at the moment and i neeeed to change them

Should be hunting down some 155/55/14's shortly so i'll take some pics against some 195/45/14's i've got!

It boiled down to 185x55x14 or 165x60x14 for me on the day,given the deal i got. I went for the 185x55s due to my 4-speed gearbox situation,but it still revs its conrods off and they turned out to look massive in comparison to the lower profile 165x60s.

Never underestimate how much effect the width has on the profile.

165x50x15s look great on the 6x15s - and are no doubt very efficient with their optimum footprint/weight and low rolling resistance.
