Mini wheels can be fitted using wobble bolts which are available on ebay or if you goto your local alloy wheel shop they should be able to supply you with some. They may have to order them in.

Ford Wheels will not fit unless you get some adapters, they are 4x108 where as Polos are 4x100. The gap is to large to use wobble bolts. I've heard of a few people redrilling there hubs to suit the wheels but I don't really know anything about that but if you do feel free to add to this post....!

there was a guy on here who had a silver mk2 saloon (was from oxford and had a sweet mk3 black g40 too) and he had fitted audi 80 hubs and brakes up front which gave him 4 x108 stud pattern but i think the rears were still 4x 100, though i guess the rears would be easy to get re-drilled to 4 x 108. I dont think he had many issues with fitting the brakes.

My mates got an old Mini Mayfair and that's 4x108 too so how will they fit but the Ford's wont?

Minis are 4x4". I may be offering a hub re-drilling service soon.

I've got both a mini, and a vw, and have swapped wheels on many an occaison

i have 101.6 wellers! No trouble fitting with or without wobble bolts just need to make sure they line up properly and maybe spiggot rings! :)

i think you can get away with it more on steels, i fitted my mattigs to the terra 4x98 with no problem.

but if you are doing this you gota make sure the centrebore is spot on

Mathmatically it actually works out as 101.6, where did 101.25 come from?

1" = 25.4mm

4" = 101.6mm

ford wheels cant go on a polo u would have to get a re format on them if u wanted to do that, i got a set of Alessio Sport Alloys, tried my polo and i couldnt match em up i lookin into re format if i cant find any old skool alloys. check my polo pics

As mentioned above the rears can be re'drilled to the ford pattern, but 4x108 is about the max they'll take as the amount of material you can drill/tap into reduces as you move away from the standard PCD. For the fronts i made some adaptors out of some old Sierra hubs :)

Was a long time ago now lol, i'll try and get some pictures up for you during the week. Basically, the sierra items use studs instead of wheels bolts to secure the wheel. Therefore, after some lathe work to get the correct centrebore, i was able to drill the 4x100 VW pattern into the sierra hubs, bolt these to my polo hubs, then use wheel nuts to fit the wheels to the sierra hubs. I think we measured that they made the wheels stick out a futher 18mm, which is not bad considering most wheels adaptor plates you can buy are 20-25mm.

Have no idea mate, cant say i researched it at the time to be honest. It cost me £20 for the sierra hubs and a few hours of my time so i cant complain really lol.

you will struggle finding adaptors best bet is to have some made up of air craft grade alloy but that aint cheep i no vauxhall fit vw as iv got some elesio speedlines on ma golf at the mo and they only made them wheels for 4 stud vauxhalls

anyone any idea what size spigot rings i would need to fit some mini wheels on a 6n?

seems theres a fair few choices & I'm not entirely sure what I'm after :/
