they still make them then?

i was lead to believe production had stopped and that was why they appeared on here quite pricey (£80!)

NOTE: just realised what the link is for!

Just looked! Am i right in thinking its £124 for a pair?

ye looks like 60 odd for one!

I work for a Motor factor in Scotland, who distribute Hella products

and they are no longer available from Hella. If this guy has a few

sets of foglights, which i doubt, snap them up quick at that price.

A bit piricey as thinking £30 pair but £124 f**king hell

Ring Microline foglights will also fit fine, and cost £20 a pair... Are you willing to pay another £104 for the VAG stamp?

I know everything about these! Teehee!

The lenses are available from vag still with part numbers (867 941 723 & 867 941 724) for the clear ones or (867 941 723A & 867 941 724A) for the yellow ones (£22ea + VAT). You will also need 2 x 441 941 715 - which is the units seal. The lense units themselves are discountinued and you will not get them anywhere. (GSF, ECP, VAG & Hella no longer list this item!) However!! The mk2 golf post-90 big bumpers foglights use a VERY similar design to the original mk3 polo units! I guarentee they fit! There is a set on my G40 right now!

All you need to do is buy a set of mk2 golf bigbumpers foglights (about £30 a pair new). Strip them down and use the bolts and fixtures that come with them along with the new VAG lenses for the mk3 and you have a set of genuine units! The lenses are about £50 and I bout my set of foglights for the golf for 99p and £6 postage!

Hope that helps!

Aye just tell the whole world Andy...

I think I will go with skattys idea on Ring Microline foglights can go a miss then and after all am £104 lighter in insted of buying expensive VAG items

haha, i'm liking the cheaper option! £60 a side is bloomin expensive, considering the chances of one breaking!
