I am thinking of just having a little play with my Polo.... well its turned in to a project now! Base car is a 1.3CL (SPi)

Front brakes - what can be fitted OEM and what can be fitted aftermarket? Could be wrong but are the front hub/calipers the same as a Mk1 Golf? If so Willwood offer a brake kit, any ideas?

Rear brakes - I know rear braking is not all that much but it will be getting a brake bias valve so I can put more to the rear.... anyway again I heard Mk1 Golf parts fit? This right?

Brake master - I just happen to have a 16V Mk2 golf master cylinder, anyone know if it will fit? If not any bigger OEM masters fit?

Braided lines - can you get them!?!?!?

As a taster,i'll just let you know that I'm using Golf/Vento MK3 front calipers (VWII),G40 pads,Golf/Vento MK3 rear drums (200mm),Golf/Jetta GTi 8v MK1/2 front discs and Goodridge braided hoses.

Pretty standard stuff.

Doesnt feel standard..

I have front Girling calipers from an 80's Audi. These come with 256mm disks. Performance pads and grooved disks along with these. For the back....Mk2 or Mk4 (alloy) Golf rear disks.
