Any hope for my 1 years no claims?

Featured Replies

Well basically dear daddy thaught hed do me a favour when i left for uni by cancelling my insurance policy on the basis that i wasnt using the car and he was "trying to save me money." However he cancelled it one month before i would have got a years no claims. Is there any way of still getting this or do i have to be insured for a whole year again?

Was the insurance in your name? Don't think he could legally cancel it if it was, so the phone person cocked up or your dad said he was you.

Hi,

Have you spoken to them about it?

Normally it is only the policy holder that can cancel the policy,

Maybe it is not to late best to ring them up and explain what happened, If you have not sent your certificate in you might still be able to reverse the decision.

Dan.

i was a named driver but building up my own no claims. Iphoned up to reinstate the policy and they wouldnt becaue the "car is 'heavily' modifed" even though they new about the modifications before which is oddd/
