Just a quickie does anyone know where i can get hold of the grill inserts for a polo 6n 16v front bumper because the one i have brought didnt come with them

any idea how much they likeley to be

any helps would be great

christian aka 'chrispy' has a full spare set so give him PM.

not sure what he wants.....but if u go a dealers its atleast 50 odd quid just for the centre grill

In terms of buying them off other people it might take a while to look around! As they're usually snapped up quickly.

It seems to me that these grilles are as rare as rocking horse shit

I'm positive I heard £80-£90 for the full set of grilles.

£40 centre

£15 lower sides (each)

£10 upper sides (each)

Like I said those are just figures i have heard being thrown around and aren't official prices from VW. I'm sure a quick phone call would clear things up.

i dont mean to hijack this tread or nothing but i have seen quite a few front 16v bumpers where the number plate is ment to go has been smoothed off e.g test richie, but was wondering is this illegal and has anyone been pulled over for this ( for not showing a number plate on the front)

Yes it has been smoothed..and police can pull you for it
