cool car but the exhaust is offensive to my eyes,

i dont mind a loud barry looking exhaust but thats a joke surely

possibly space out the rears for sme more girth

get some vinyl dye on teh black plastics and get them shiny as new again

snap crackles and pop's and when droppin a gear gives the odd flame..

Is it bad that I think if you had one of those exhausts either side of the car mounted in a recessed part of the bumper, it would look good? It's just the way they hang that looks a bit dodgy, and the fact there are two so close together. One either side ftw

so its a rally cam.

the g40 would be restrictive up high revs which is what this engine has in mind with a wild cam.

when it was on the rollers the car only reached its highest output at the limiter because the power was still higher yet after 8k.

so polo p will be supplying a vernier for it.

Yeah I was thinking that, if you had a G40 inlet manifold it would be restricting it. The GT one could be as well perhaps? Higher than 8k? Solid lifters + uprated valve springs me thinks!

not going the solids way at all too much maintance and settin up plus he money...

going to have a 7.5k limiter bring the cam down (retard it)

so i have more gain and power in the revs i use.

need to sort out wether i want to keep the golf afm.

its unhealthy for idle with out a cam.... damm near impossible with one.

a decent induction kit with standard afm with be the trick ... not sure

TBH I say balls to the AFM. It only works when cold anyway doesn't it? There must be a way of omitting it from the system completely.

maby but i think its designed to have it for optimum performance so the ecu knows what is best with the fueling...

but mind you the spi manages fine with the lamda sensor but hey ho its a gt its just what happends
