^^ cheeeeers mike just to add that rear badge was done with a touch up kit i had from aaaagessss ago and its the only close colour i have to the bodywork all others seem to creamy. so ye i dont think that has turned out too bad either

the plates will be getting swopped for Uk non banded pressed when I'm driving the car but until then i will get some new stock plates and fasten them on with the tape i used on ma rear badge, will clean the arse end up abit then i hope.

oh and that rear wiper... that will come off as soon as i can get it off :p

oh one question, if anyone knows the two wires going to the glass which whire goes where, there is a brown and a white.

i presumed white to be live and brown earth, its for the heated glass i think. i have put the brown on the top and white on the bottom is this right? i didnt no whichone goes where form before as the whole mirror unit is brand new so it came with the glass in a seperate box and the wires taped up.

deloceked the nearside. I've not done the driver side yet as i have keyyed central locking not remote but that will be bought and fitted soon. was an arse fitting the nearside oen though as the haynes tells you to turn the key push it forward then pull out the back.. which i did only to find the locking pin still wouldnt clear!

soooo... off came the door card and i bent the pin and removed the handle after snapping the locking pin in the process (at which point i thoguth shit no turning back now ) so fitted the new handle and bent the pin back, job done!

right, will get some out and about.... i haven't actually got any as its COMPLETELY standard externally aprt form a debadged grille (still not fited ma relocated one as i haven't recieved ma std badge yet) clear indis and side repeaters and mk5 rears...! oh and rear badges removed THATS IT!

hi mate, not sure if youve read the post but I've not actually got a nearside mirror yet.

as soon as i have that and its sprayed they will be on DEFINATLY i dotn think i want one stubby black mk5 mirror and one std white mk4 mirror on for a few weeks though

and cheers mate, i do try :p as i said above it gets a wash after most outings so i try to keep it clean :-)

clutch is OUT finally, gotta go get a new one now, never had one ready to put in as there are two for my engine number. I'm hoping a h/d one and a std one so i will be getting a h/d one.

Relocating the washer bottle again so thatw ill be done rtomorrow/next weekend.

I'm only 16 mate, not aloud by law! and mum has said to me she will drive it for me as her daily until i can drive it (my birthdays sept, 26th so october ish i hope i will be driving) WOO!

so it is her daily and it does get used! and i can certainly tell going of th enumber of parking dents its getting lately no one seems to care anymore!
