Use hot water and an old credit card to remove the badge.

As for spraying, you want to get a key into the badge using a fine grain sandpaper. Then couple of coats of prime and the colour. Rattle cans will do it.

right oki! so i just pour hot water over it? then i use a credit card to get in the gap? then when sanding i do what with a key? sorry i dont understand?

i find a hair dryer best to soften the glue, then peel it off using fishing wire, then use some intensive tar and adhesive remover

Getting a key into something means to smooth it down so the paint you spray on sticks properly and doesn't flake off :) Use a fine grain sandpaper to do this and remove all the chrome on the badge.
