Now I KNOW that German plates are illegal and i'm sure what I want to do is frowned upon but clarification would help

I want to get my new plate dont mind showing it properly on real plates but I dont want the GAP

so A123 BCD I would want as A123BCD

Is this against the law I'm sure it is!!!

I can't afford to get 3 more points!!!!

It is illegal.

Basically if you want to change your plate and want to know if its legal anything with standard font, no pictures(except country flags), no watermarks, proper spacing on plastic plates is legal enough. anything else is illegal.

I've ran mine without correct spacing for about 4 years now...only been stopped once for it. Dont think its points for illegal spacing though...isnt it just a 14day MOT producer thing?

I heard it can be a fine of £30 but you cant get points....
