Steering stiff after tracking.

Featured Replies

I recentley had new shocks in the front.... which screwed up the tracking and camber. So I took it to get its tracking done.... after this the steering was heavier than usual. I feel the road more and sometimes the steering wheel shakes when I'm doing 60<.

I took it to the garage today to get it's camber, tracking + wheel balance all done... as i thought it was the camber at fault. This slightly improved it but it's still heavier than it was.

Power steering fluid seems at the right level.

What could this be? It feels shit like this, very strange to drive. Maybe i'll gel into it soon, but i still would like the easy steering & nice ride my car did have before getting it's tracking done the first time.

Any ideas?!

Mines was like that and had to get the stearing bushes changed, unfortunately you have to re do the racking.
