Painting Bumpers

Featured Replies

Can i treat the bumpers the same as the car?

i mean rubbing them down etc.

I'm using cellulose on the car so will it be ok to do the bumpers in cellulose aswell or would i need special paint?

thanks.

Amy.

I've recently primered my bumpers an two toned them, I've laquered them which has actually sealed the paint xD but i suggest you clean them down with some grease/petrol remover etc... because i had a few bubbles on the side of mine(side closest to exhaust). but other than that its worked out fine, just the chrome paint has gone abit dull since laquering.

sorry if my grammer or spelling is bad, very sleepy an had a few carlings...

btw sanding will probly go fine as long as you dont use really rough paper(leaves deep scratches).
