painting the interior

Featured Replies

has anybody done this? got any pictures?

I'm spraying my car burgundy soon and wanted to do a few plastic bits like the heater knobs and stuff the same colour.

i know the dials and fans come off, easily enough but I'm not sure about the other little things.

I found a pic on the net so i had a little change...i want it the opposite of this. paint the hazard switch, wiper switch, heater knobs and fan covers.

which one would look best?????

ash philpott did this to his 6n and it looks spot on. I'm waitin for a sunny day then I'm gna do mine too. should be ready by july lol.

I sprayed my speaker grills red, same as exterior and it looks spot on imo :)

Remember most interiors are greys. Painting heater surrounds ect ect a darker grey, black would be fine,

but coloured bits stand out far too much and do look tacky. But at the of the day its your car and if you

like it thats all that counts. Just my opinion TBH

Dont mod your car to please others, its yours to enjoy.

i sprayed mine I'm unsure about it heres some dodgy pictures because i cant take pictures and dont hav decent camera

i think it kinda works cus the dash is dark and the colour is dark...

but i wudnt spray it a really light color bright red, yellow, chrome etc..

reminds me of the old volvos with that wood look interior... an some other cars like that... I would probly want mine black as it looks grey atm.

Chrome would be a good colour i suppose. but buying chrome door handles fan switches etc off ebay is a waste of money (e.g. 20 pound for 2 inside door handles in chrome).

Not my car but check what this guy has done to his mk3 polo !
