depend on what wheel/tyres your looking to put on it i think, but if standard i think its fine.

If you get hard enough springs shouldn't be to much of a problem. I had idiotically hard springs on mine and there was about 10mm between the tyre and arch and it didn't rub once. Not even when I had 2 peoples worth of camping gear in it and a full audi tt interior. Did 300 miles with it in and didn't rub once! That was on a squareback to, which have totally shit arches in terms of wheel clearance.

I'm looking to buy a phil j kit as i have a 40/40 on my cl at the mo and its a brilliant kit, and i was thinkin of going for some superlites or alleycats 13"

Realistically of your running a 6j rim and a f=offset between 33-38 you should be fine... You may have to hammer the inside lip up.. If you take your time you wont be able to tell the difference.

Anything lower then a 33 offset and wider than 6j then i'd say no passangers without major archwork.
