I will be upgrading the brakes on my GT to G40's in the next couple of days so i was just wondering what brake fluid you all use/recommend?

i just use dot 3.

your brakes are on there way - the daft women in the post office argued with me for about 5mins about it not having a house number! daft women!

I would either use DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 as they have higher boiling points than DOT 3. And should help to stop the spongy feeling after hammering the brakes. The down side is that you will have to change it more often due to it absorbs more water over time. When you fit them you could also invest in some braided brake hoses as well. Tie this up with some high quality discs and pads and you should have a good brake set up. (Well good enough for the GT anyway!! :) )
