As I dont have time or experience to get my car on the road I need a car that I can just drive.

small vw, reliable and low costing insurance preferred.

I have about 600 pounds to spend plus my mk3 which isn't road worthy. needs smaller wheels, and a few other jobs.

I have 13" bbs ra's and a philj 80/60 springs and shocks kit for it which are brand new with top-caps (not fitted).

its got a shabby two-tone black/silver paint job,side exit exhaust some stickers and is already lowered 60/60. Generally quite ratty and is a good project. (not sure what its worth)

interested, whats up with your car then m8? how straight is it under the "shabby" paintowrk? Wnat a straight shell to start my g40 conversion? Can swap for a road legal 1.3 gt coupe in dark metallic blue? Recnetly done the conversion, and runs sweet as a nut. can i have more pics of you are car?

It won't start without a jump. Just started not startin recently. Its red underneath and pretty clean I think, the paint is already peelin so will come off easy I think. I recon it'll be pretty good for a conversion. as far as I can see It'll be pretty good after a conversion. I jacked it up yesterday and the only thing I could spot was that the brake pipes were rusty but they're cheap to replace and the rubber things under the springs have chunks out them.

(I dont know what the're called and not sure of they're purpose)

also I have no driver's seat but will have it back soon(long story)
