hi there i got a mk3 spi, and i heard that the mpi "stuff" would gain me about 15hp so i really want some :p i need everything tho couse i aint no mecanik :p know what i mean`? :/

btw, the mpi system can be taken off a nz or gt or g40 ?

it needs to be off a GT really cos i thought G40 was different, and the NZ runs different injection which wont gain you as much power or torque

NZ is your best bet as it means you can keep your vaccum advance distributor. The injection system is exactly the same as the GT/G40 system bar the ECU which only controls the fuelling (hence the Vaccum advance dizzy)

nz are a tad rarer though? I duno really. Free bump to a fellow wannabe MPI'er

ohh, by the way, since my car is left hand drive, the ecu's up here is not the same as you got down there, i bougt a chipped ecu off poloace and the "connector"(cable for ecu) was not the same :S

would that have something to say???

Got a complete rear-ended saloon, 1.3 NZ engine fitted with GT clocks - is advertised here somewhere. If you're interested let me know.
