I'd say they will scrub on the inside. Depends, is your polo lowered at all?

I've been running 15"x7J ET25 and these scrubbed 'slightly' on the inside on full lock but mor on the outside over bumps etc...

Hi i am looking at buying some wheels which are 15" x7J et 38 anyone know if these will fit mmy vw polo gti 6n2

6x14" is ET 35-38 on a 6n2, running a 185 wide tyre

If you jump to 7" (tahst 25,4mm wider) on 15" then its a 195 tyre. If the ET is at max then the that 25.4mm will extend inwards and likely it'll rub.

You have a number of choices when going to 7" and 10mm more tyre width

- use a narrower tyre (not really)

- drop the ET so the greater width is split evenly, ie 12.7mm either way

- drop ET so all 25.4mm and 10mm of tyre are moved outwards (inner doesn't change)

- add a 25mm spacer to the ET 38 wheels to effectively do the above.

:)

I have added spacers once before i had lots of trouble with them. I had a lot of shake on the steering wheel as if the wheels were not balanced but i had them done twice and the problem still occured maybe it was the spacers i was using I'm not sure any ideas????????

I'm running 17"s on my 6n2, lowered 45mm with 205/40 tires.

get cutting the inserts, no problems :)

only little rubs over massive bumps, e.g. raised manholes, potholes, usual.

:)

RIGHT! i have found out they do the same wheels i want but with a size of 15 x 7J et 20 would be this be ok for my 6n2 GTi or does the et have to be larger than 38?????
