Removing metal sunroof from mk3

Featured Replies

I need to take the sunroof out of my mk3, done it with the glass ones before, piece of pie. Never done a metal one before. I need to have the piece of headliner on it in tact, so no pikey ideas of just cutting it or ripping it

Cheers :D

It tells you how to do this in my haynes Mk2 workshop manual. Sure they are the same sunroof. If no one has replied to you giving the answer by the time i get home i will let you know what the book says. Sorry i can't be more help at this time but anyone with a haynes workshop manual for the Mk2 or Mk3 should be able to help.

No worries, I can't imagine it'll be to hard. I could probably work it out for myself but though I might as well ask since I'll not be removing it till tomorrow or maybe even the weekend. Why make life harder if you don't have to!
