prefer the colour of yours though, i'd considered getting mine resprayed something different from red but that wont be for a while yet.....plus, the body got all its original bangs and dents etc at the moment and i kinda like that about it.....strangely enough lol.

i do have the centre caps for them somewhere, however, i had 2 ideas, 1 paint the area that should have a centre cap in black,,,,or,

leave a silver dish and have the spokes black.....opinions on that idea....?

update too,

gave car full service today, oil + filter, air filter, plugs, points, new timing + auxilary belts, and sorted the exhaust blow with brand new frontpipe and flex pipe, cars runnning spot on

closer to winter will be brakes i think,

I'm still in two minds as to wheteh to try and make this into some kind or derv though.....love to see if a pd would fit in, even if its just a 100, the torqu would be excellent in such a tiny car :) i reckon anyway.....

It's surprising how just a bit of lowering and a change of wheels can do to a car. esp as it was a granny car when you first got it.

i always say wheels will make or break a car, and i always liked the bbs type......just convenient that everything came together like it did, cheers for the comments

in case i haven't mentioned its also got new front pipe and flexipipe, the full 80mm lowering springs and dampers, 15" alloys, (v.wide) with brand spanking new tyres, i have uprated the original speakers too.....

I think it looks mint apart from in two pictures, one being the picture StevieDavidson posted as i feel that the wheels look far too big for it.

However, despite my original opinion, it looks really good!

Not to be an arse mate, but £700 seems a lot for what is basically a 20-odd year old polo with a boot! Is this really worth as much as a decent GT? I would have thought £500 to be a fairly high price for it if I'm honest. I'm not knocking the car in any way, but i think you might be asking a bit much.

love it the wheels on it.

everyone seems to think that you have to have 13" or 14". but this looks ace.

i'd get the arches rolled and go lower, think it would really very good from the " NORM"

You sure that has been lowered? Those wheels are so huge it looks like its been raised.
