right folks, another update for the Polo. After getting scuffed at edition and general abuse over winter i decided to take into the car and get it ready for heading off to Ultimate Dubs at the weekend past.

i filled an dints and re-did my rear arches after not being happy with them and resprayed the car completely. inside i fitted my install which has been built for a few months now. its only set in at and not finished but you get the idea. still havnt got round to wiring it. i also fitted my grenade gear knob, sprayed the cloth on my doorcards black and threw the camo net over the front seats again.

tbh this show was the push i needed to get the car back to a decent standard and after viewing the others at the show has made me want to push on with the car, esp the interior. so there should be a few other updates soon.

cheers everyone. well pleased with marc's pics. i usually run no wipers wen the weather's good then if it rains get out and put them on. makes such a difference to the car imo

Bigger and better things await Alex, he's conquered the 6N world and there is life outside polos... No point regretting anything in life and if I had created what he had, there would be no reason too

tbh I'm not exactly sure what i want next. i'd love a corrado but i'd love a mk4 gt tdi so it's just gona be whatever car appears and i take a fancy too.

i love the CP website so even when the polo goes i'll still be knocking around so the new project will be posted up too. it also wont be the last polo i build

ok folks. After numerous people pissed me about with buying the car i kept it.

plans now are, semi smooth engine bay and a reasonably quick 1.4 16v lump.

i got a set of bike carbs for the engine off a GPZ 900. £40 anyone?

nice black crinkle finish on the tops of them too.

My new valver lump arrived Friday morning and after waiting ages to finally get one i got it to the workshop and did fuck all.

Came up this morning and dosed it in Gunk and Parafin oil and gave it a power hosing. Here's the before and after pics after one hosing. Waiting on it drying to get more Gunk on.

Looks like a fair project now Awesome car, cant wait to see it finished
