I've got a mk5 interior in my 6n which I got from the scrapyard but don't have the metal bit that allows the two halves of the back of the seat to slot together in the middle

Can anyone help?

I can't get a picture cos I don't have the bit!! Its a metal thing which holds the two seats together or something.

that's not much help really is it??? Maybe I need to get off my bum and go to a scrappy

i had to get one of these to fit 16v seats in my 1l i think you are talking about the catch that holds the 60/40 split, as the 1l only has a catch either side to hold the bottom corners down. is that what you mean? i found min in a scrappy in the end. its the one that would go here ^=catch ----=seat, ^----^----------^ so the 60/40 has 3 catches, on the 1l it has ^-------------------^ just 2 catches. the middle one is required to put a better spec interior into a 1l. i hope that helped and didnt cause more confusion! cheers

managed to get one last week for 16v seats rob one i didnt have right torque so i ripped the seats out and did it that way make sure you get the clips good spares lol
