I joined this forum around the same time and don't know anyone on here other than the odd thread. I have one mate whos into cars who's handy with mechanics.

I bought a non running polo for £90 and through a hell a lot off highs and lows have a car on the road just between the two of us working on it.

I learned to weld so I could fix my car. I'm no mechanic but christ I'm learning...

The point I'm trying to make is that if you concentrate on the jobs you can deal with and get help with other jobs or advice then things start moving.

You've dropped the tank out, so why don't you get someone or learn to weld up the breather pipe. All these things are fixable if you break it down into a managable jobs.

So many folk are wanting to do GT conversions and you've allready got the GT that just needs some TLC.
