Just after peoples opinions on the following wheels...I've been looking for something with a bit of dish and want a low offset so the wheels stick out a bit they're for my red mk4, and i want to colour code the centres. I like both but the Axis will be a nightmare to spray up?! What you reckon guys?

I'd go for the first ones aswell.

Yeah, i was swaying to the top ones myself, they're slightly cheaper and are going to be easier to spray (if the red doesnt match)...although i do like the aggressive look of the Axis rims.

What sort of offset should i be looking at with an 8x15 so the rims come out just enough to give that 'phat' stance?

I do love the 1st ones but just fallen in love with these now! Love the deeper dish and rivet effect...and check them out in red!!

They are 8x15, so pretty wide.

My car is going to be lowered, not sure how much yet, I'm in the process of trying to return the kit that I've just bought which lowers it 70/60. Ideally i want to go lower but we'll see what happens.

They look Sweet as! but a 8x15 with a ET of 0 will Stick out a lot!

You will probably need at least a 175/50 on there to keep it inside the arch!,

I had 8x13" Classics on mine lowered a lot and it rubbed like Fook!

Whereabouts did your wheels rub? On the inside or outside of the arch? What offset were they?

Yeah they look like a rip off of Work Equip 03's...I bet they don't even cost 1/2 as much as the proper Work versions lol...which are insanely expensive.

Yes - but you can also get 165/50s

Ha no chance! 8x 15 with an et of 0 on a mk4 arch? Absolutely no chance in hell without alot of arch work!!! Even rolling the arches wont do the job!

and 165 on an 8" rim also wont work i doubt, 195/45 is plenty enough stretch on my 8's!!!

If i was you mate, i'd go with something like 195/45 tyres and alot of arch pulling!!!

Was thinking that they wouldnt fit easily...not really looking to have to modify the arches to be honest.

They do the same wheel but in 15x7 with +38 offset...will this be better or will it be too much inside the arches?? Apologies for all these questions, just want to make sure the wheels are going to look right and fit before spending the money!!
