As in the title,

Got an AEE I'm rebuilding over the winter, but I'm going to need an inlet manifold to fit the injection onto the AEE head as the stud pattern is different.

Ideally i would like a proper job, not a bodge and looking factory.

The GT mahifold is alloy, the AEE is plastic-I'm hoping the get one done in alloy.

I've PM'd a member who has done this conversion asking for advice but they dont appear to use this site anymore.

Any brainy members out there want to help with advice or even make me one up for financial reward?

I could possible get a GT manifold fabricated to an alloy flange to fit the AEE head. It depends on the port spacing, but it should be do-able.

You could always cut both manifolds in half and get someone to weld them together and then re port them to make them smooth again.

i could make a flange for it, but it aint cheap... why do you have to use the gt injection gear??? the injectors from that would fit the aee manifold with a bit of hocus pocus

Is the port spacing the same between the GT and AEE? If it is, then I imagine making a slightly different flange and replacing the one on the GT manifold isn't too hard, assuming you have access to a TIG and someone who can use it.

The reason is just simply i have it already fitted to the car, its reliable and spares are plentiful.

I will be adding bits and uprating as time goes by, i though one step at a time for development purposes.

Are you suggesting i could use the plastic AEE manifold and throttle body with GT injection?

it's possible yes, i would have to look into that tho, and you would almost certainly have to make an adaptor plate for the throttle body which is dead easy

So basically i just need to get hold of a GT throttle body and see if it will fit my AEE inlet-If not then make up a spacer type thing, sounds cheaper than making an inlet.

The GT injectors may even fit the AEE injector holes-Better still, i was thinking about uprating the injectores for the bigger cc, so I'm thinmking the AEE injectors would be fine?

Any thoughts?

I ended up using my GT inlet, and made slots in the manifold bolt holes so i could fit the manifold to the AEE head.
