okay, my renewal is up. Currently with Direct Line who have given me a pretty good renewal quote (700ish incl interest for paying monthly) but i want to insure my loweredness and alloys, so i need to change insurance company. Tried all the main ones that are mentioned on here with mods declared they want over 1K! The problem is that although I'm 19 and have two years no claims bonus i have only had my full licence for 10 months! So even when I'm doing a quote WITHOUT mods its still more then i was paying last year LOL!

Frigging doing my head in now because i cant justify spending more this year then i did last year just because now i have a full licence rather then a provisional

Might just renew with Direct Line, which either means i go back to standard poloness which will be -1 million scene points. OR stay with DL get rid of them after 2 months and then start looking again when iv had my licence for a year.

Personally I'd do a dodgy and stay insured with directline not covering the mods for the next two months. Not everyone will recommend it though.

Once you've had your license for a year, with your NCB, I think Admiral will give you a pretty damn good quote. I'm still in shock at being insured fully comp at 18 with no NCB for just over £500 with them.

I think thats what I'm going to have to do. Will i lose my deposit though?

DO you have two FULL years NCB now?

I've just had to go 8 weeks without a car as I bought a new one with mods, and was with DL before, so had to wait until I got my 3NCB as it would be silly to jeprodise that. I'm now with HIC for not much more than my DL renewal all insured legitimately :)

I renewed with DL didnt have to put a deposit down so I'm going to fuck them off after 2 months which will be when I'm such a better driver because iv had my licence for a year rather then 10 months....

But yeah they sent the new docs saying 2 NCB.

Only mods DL will let me have are Lexus Lights, Tints & SatNav

Try brentacre or adrian flux. Personaly I can't recomend Brentacre enough.

I tried them both but they both said their sorry but come back when iv had my licence for a full year and they will sort me out.
