If it is a mk4 (6n) then no.. just needs a lot of elbow grease to get the glue off...

If a mk5 (6n2) I believe they have holes and will need filling in...

Surely the 2000 Model is the 6N2?

I am taking mine off soon!!! The bumb strips (black things of the side) could also leave an indent? Not sure about this though...

100% sure not any holes on a mk4 however i think you may have a problem with a 6n2

thanx 4 the replies I'm new to this forum and just got the car sokeepin up wid the polos :-D

alright fella I'm new to the world of polo had my mk5 (2000) a few months now... taking off the black side strips leaves an indent and or screw holes depending on where you take them off..

your best bit is to do the same as me and have them sprayed and the front bump strip taken out and the bumper smoothed.. can be pricey but worth it...
