could anyone help us please? we've got 2 mk3's and want to put 13x8 wellers on and dont know what offset to go for, or what tyres to get that stretched look? also my mates is dropped 60/40 will there be any rubbing from anyones experience??

I dont know if you'll get the right fitment mate.

You can get wellers in 4x100 fitment but because of the offset on the 13x8 they will not fit a standard mk3. 13x7's will but even those have an offset of +3 IIRC.

8"s will fit but will stick out way to much et-10 ! go for the 7"s

Get yourself down to a body shop and your arches cut and new ones welded on !

I havnt seen many Mk3's with sick arches to be honest .. Would look awsome I'm sure ..

I've got 8x13 on the back and mattig 7x13 on the front the back is lower now than in the pic (about 10mm from the tyre to the arch on coilover stiff as u like tho) but if u dont mind a bit of scrubbing and some attension from police then id do it they look th nuts! :-)

What offset and tyre size are those?

I'm having my coupe S steels banded to 13x8 which should make them ET5.5... would that be okay?

yeh i think that would be ok mine on the back are ET. -10 with a 175/50/13 pirelli which are pretty big tyres from what I've seen. hope that helps.
