just wondering if anyone has put a backlight behind the VW badge on the grill?

reason being (if you couldn't guess) i want to illuminate the badge.

surly your best bit would be to attempt to make a badge from some sort of clear plastic? otherise cant see much light shining thru? could be good thobe good to see how it looks.. or could just put pink lights in the sidelights :p

I've seen it done with LEDs. Theres a kid round the corner with a Mark3 Golf CL, totally standard apart from the grille badge. Looks alright actually!
