Help

A friend from work has a 97 Polo which has stood for a while and when she collected and started her car none of the Instruments work. I said I would have a look on Friday but has anybody come across this before ? It seems strange the whole lot has gone not just one part ?

Any Ideas

have you tried re-seatting the clocks or is it the whole illumination i.e. heater dials and switches? if so have you checked the fuses?

Thanks for reply haven't physically looked at car yet. Fuses were my first thought and info is vauge at the moment all she can say is no fuel , temp or speedo but the little blue light comes on when high beam is on. Somebody has told her she need a complete new instrument cluster but I find that hard to belive.
