Endsleigh & Modifications...

Featured Replies

I'm 18 with 1 year NCB, I've had my full license around 5 months now. On moneysupermarket.com i got a quote from Endsleigh for around 970 tpft, which is better than my renewal from DL, plus i have modifications.

Does anyone know or is anyone with Endsleigh and knows what their policy on modifications? Would it better to declare lowering and asthetic things when i call or would it be better to take out the policy then tell them as i know thats what a fair few people do with the likes of quinn etc....

Any help would be great! Thanks

I am insured through Noel Dazley (Insurance broker) with Endsleigh, my mods didn't cost any extra, wheels & suspension.

How old are you though, thought they might have a sort of age restriction for modifications like 19 or like DL and 25!

Cheers

They'll charge you extra to cover the risk, but don't expect to get a penny back over a standard car if you have an accident.

I've been insured with Endsleigh, and I'd never, ever, ever use them again. Not even if they gave me cover for free.

I've been with endsleigh for 4 years now...they're good with mods.

Have you ever made a claim though?

Hmmm interesting. I'm so confused! would it be better the suck it up and pay the extra 200 or so and go with quinn?!

i`ll 2nd that, was with endsleigh...cut a long story short, they cut my insurance off, and didnt even notify me about it so i drove around for a short period w/out insurance....however if thats the cheapest by a long shot, and they cover mods then go for it
