Under 25, Any insurance policys that will let you drive other cars?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am currently 24, and its coming to that time for insurance again. I was hoping for a policy that would allow me to drive other cars. Done quote with the main, Churchill, Liverpool Victoria, Tesco.

Is there any that you know of that will allow drive other cars on my policy?

When i am 25, seems most if not all will allow me to do so, but as it stands, i cant seem to get this cover.

Any ideas?

cheers :)

I am 19 and quin let me drive any other car 3rd party which is V cool

Try moneysupermarket.com and use their price comparison thingy...

It knocked the spots off all the other quotes I got...

And look at Elephant and Admiral too... if I recall they'll give you cover under a comprehensive policy.

I have a 24yr old mate who has a traders policy in his name, two other drivers on the policy, he uses his three years no claims and pays £1300 This covers up to ten named cars fully comp (doesn't matter what insurance group or mods) and covers him fully comp on any other car up to £30000, obviously cars not named on the policy are not insured against fire&theft.

I don't know of the top of my head who underwrites this policy but i could find out if you are intersted

Quinn do drive another car 3rd party on all their policies they told me, as long as you have the drivers permisson and its road legal.

Theirs a few small exceptions, like company vehicles etc but its all in the policy document.

Bell let you add it on for like #30 a year so you can drive others 3rd party :)

does it say anything about what age you have to be cause I'm 17, and will i be able to drive other cars if I'm a named driver??

Doesnt matter what age you are, but aslong as your insured as the named driver on your car its all good.

I think i will probably go back to quinn once my insurance has finished next year, they wouldnt insure me on my g40 until i was 21. Any car over 110bhp they wont insure till your 21. I'm not sure if quinn give you a reduction with clubpolo, but i saved quite a bit with adrian flux.

twistedl how much u paying for your policy with Quinn and what mods you got on it?

onlyt asking cos i couldnt get insured on my valver with many companies in my own name, with FRIZZEL atm for £1200 fc (I'm 18 no ncb) but they wont let me mod at all
