Wings and Arches

Featured Replies

I'm replacing my front drivers wing soon, had it on a year but it was a duff replacement to be honest! Anyone know whether I can do it myself?...ok stupid q, but are there any pointers/bolts/screws/fastenings to b aware of?

And what's involved in rolling the arches by the way?! :?

wings just bolt on a and off :)

rolling the arches personally i would just beat the inner lip in with a hammer and dolly then paint hammerite over the inside of the arche to seal the broken paint,

:)

Make sure you clean the lip out before you start beating it or anything. I cleaned mine out then let them dry properly (with a heat gun of course ) and then tap them back. I was left with a small gap between the arch and the lip so I just packed it with filler (I was using it anyway) in an attempt to stop crap and water building up in there and causing a load of bull crap rust.

Dunno if that was a good idea or not. But drove the car around on super super hard suspension and it never cracked so fingers crossed its all okay!

Cool, it'll be a last resort if I'm rubbing, but to be honest the arches are pretty damn big anyway, 14s won't be causing too much hassle methinks!

Got new wing sat in the garage...think I'll wait for the spring tho! Ta guys!
