This is my mates mk3. Its a 1.0L Genesis that he has had straightened and sprayed Porsche Iris Blue. The wheels are 7 and 7.5x14 Revolutions.

what ET are the wheels are were any arch mods done...

Its just had all the dinks and dents straightened out.

Oops typo, they are 7x14 front and 7.5x14 rear. Not sure on the ET and the rear arches were rolled to minimize scrubbage.

Interesting, I had the same wheels in the same size, with Dunlop tyress on the back and knackered Dunlops up front when I had 'em.

I sold them to a guy near Cardiff las summer, who sold them to another guy he knows, who may well have sold them on.

I wonder if it's the same set.

Strange, well it's me who imported them into the UK then, they used to belong to a guy in Koln. I brought them into the UK in July 2006. Only had them for about two days before I had to sell them, couldn't afford additional arch rolling and new front tyres at the time. Shame really, cos they're lovely wheels. :(

He's going to put 165's on the front and 175's on the back to cure the rubbing. They must be the same wheels though. I cant remember the guys name but they were on the autojumble at Edition with a few other Polo bits.

yep i saw the wheels at e38, i went back to get some money off a friend to buy these, came back and they were gone...

It's nice to see they're still attracting the same sort of interest. I took them off the car, put them up for sale and within a day they'd gone for the asking price.

I'd have kept them in a heartbeat if they'd have fitted mine without scrubbing furiously on the back. That's with just me in the car, and I already have rolled rear arches.

There should still be scuff marks on the rear tyres from my arches. :(

It's just a shame that they came up when they did. I've got the cash to keep them now.
