Yep, problem will be when you lower it you will probably need your arches flared. Also remove the plastic inner arches.

If you don't lower it you will have a 4x4 Polo.

anything over 16s and lowering will be an issue.

also anything over 16s will look a bit over the top..I used to have 17s on mine but was never that low..

I had at one stage 16" with a 40mm drop and it scrubbed most of the time on the back, turning circles are crap.

Also what engine size is your car? 17's will make 1.4's and below very slow, you will lose a lot of accelaration.

17"+ on a Mk5 just looks stupid, I've only seen one or two exceptions in the past where it looks so-so

if i put 17's

will they rub

can i still lower bout 35mm

and what tyres do i need lookinf for defo low profiles

but dont want the alloy edge, dont want the tyre to be strecthced
