Constantly stop starting, smokey diesels, aerodynamic as a brick.

Plus, If I want to do a comedy loud fart, I can't really do it on a bus without everyones devil eyes staring at me.

:lol::lol: if i wanted to go across the border to chester from were i live which is about 10 miles away it will cost me 4 quid return !

i HATE BUSES!!!!!

just got back from uni on bus, i was only person on the bus under 60. There was a guy must been late 70s with hunchback and sounded french trying to chat up two old women on either side of the bus, saying they were beautiful and if they lived alone, they replied yes and he goes 'oh what a shame i would love to keep you company'

EHH old pervy men = scary shizz

Another time b-shaw (also member on here) was on the bus and there was a women with a cat in the hood of her coat! WTF

If i want to get the bus to work i need to get a bus to town (1.50) which takes about 20mins.

Then another 1.50 for bus to merry hill, dudley (takes about 1hour 20mins)

So £3.00 to get to work and takes almost 2hours.

By car its a 15-20min drive and costs me less than that in petrol.

Then when finish at 9.00 and its pitch black, drive home and be back in 15mins or....bus for two hours with drunk chavs and costing me £3.00

Tough choice

I've always thought buses were tramp wagons. And i hate trains just as much as buses, id rather drive 3 hours on the motorway than 2 hours on a train. I love driving and cant bear getting anywhere other than in my car. I've even sacrificed drinking on a night out so i can drive there instead of getting a taxi.

Takes me 15mins in the car or anything upward of 50mins on the bus.

this thread is so bloody funny!

I can sympathise (sp) will you though s the buses round here are gay as gay can be. I used to catch a bus to Boston (15mins by car - eternity by bus - and thats the direct one!) and waited what seemed like an hour for it but it never appeared, so i had to catch the next one and be late for work!

i rang the bus company to complain and the boss guy said the bus DID turn up as he was driving it! Ok mate, which bus station did you go to as there was me and 15 other people all waiting for you. the guy was a complete bunch of arse so i told him where to stick his bus!

Caught the bus home one night and not only did one skanky lil kid throw up right next to the door causing a 30min delay while we stopped at the depot for it to be cleaned up, but the transexual driver (think it was female but we're not quite sure!) couldn't judge gaps very well and side swiped a brand new mini, leaving a huge blue line down the yellow paint work!

Buses are environmentally friendly? when was the last time gordon brown stood in an enclosed bus station waiting or a bus without passing out due to the fumes!

I'm lucky i only live a mile from work now!

bostons in the middle of nowhere and the last person i met from there was proper inbred and had webbed toes and hands...

if i see him again he will get a pole to the face because hes a lil cheating scrote

Bus V. Car

Bus: slow, smell of chips and pee, noisy, full of feaks of nature, suspicious stains on seats, one staring freak (possible murderer), it will break down, you may be the stopper for a brick that has just come through the window, someones headphones creating sound of 'rave through a straw'

Car: comfy, warm, fast(er), smells of magic tree, about the same price, free of freaks, always there, any tunes you like!

Buses are the epitome of EVIL. Never Again. Loyal Commuter.

The money I save by not having the after-work pint more than pays for the petrol

Another time b-shaw (also member on here) was on the bus and there was a women with a cat in the hood of her coat! WTF

Haha.. the cat in the hood.

There was some strange woman that got onto the bus and she was talking to herself (thats what it seemed anyway), she sat opposite to me and carried on talking. i just thought she was a loony and ignored her, then all of a sudden i hear a 'meeaaooowwww' i look over and theres a kitten hanging out of her hood. this got the attention of some Chav girls that were simply amazed by such things and they started talking to her and the cat. She was taking it to the vets for like a checkup or something.

Would you not just use a proper box rather than your hood? lmao. I thought it was rather class tbh lol. not everyday you get on the bus to have a journey with some random kitten.

Back to buses. they are SHIT!!! have to catch them 4 days a week twice a day. Not too bad considering my bus pass is out of date so its all kind of free, having to miss it because there are ticket people on there is a bit crap though lol.

Had all sorts happen with them that have all caused me to be late for college, appointments and everything else. They've crashed, broke down, pulled by police, 1 driver passed out, stopped because of drunken twats arsing about and pissing the driver off and many other things.

And why is it that you don't see 1 for over half n hour then 3 come at once? wheres the sense in that?

Being a Bus driver myself i find this thread highly amusing.

I cycle everwhere now because it was costing me £10 a week to get to training.

That's an extra £40 a month and guess what, I get everywhere quicker.

Buses are disgusting, I actually despise getting on them at all due to the usual state of uncleansliness they are in. Also I bet they put out similar emissions to around 40 cars.

Also when on my bike, bus drivers find it hilarious to put their foot down and overtake me, then cut infront of me to stop at a bus stop, completely covering the cycle lane.

On the bus drivers course, instead of mirror signal manoeuvre, its more like manouevre signal manoeuvre, sometimes neglecting signal in the latter, basically forcing their way out of the bus lay-bys. This annoys me immensly when I'm on my bike too.

Also down oxford road there is a crazy woman who gets on the bus and preaches to everyone.

In Cardiff they are realy anoying, you have to have exact change or pay more because the driver doesn't give change, so a few times i have paid £2 for a £1.30 journey.

they are peasant wagons, for peasants not us polo driving elite

Kids only fuck about because they know there untouchable.

unless you're called Dave

I HATE busses. and trains.

one of the last times i got the bus was because it was my birthday the night before (and had a good session in the pub) and i'd left my car at work.

had to get the bus in the morning feeling like i was going to die, had WAAAAY too much to drink. needless to say i was sick everywhere and had to get off.. i walked the rest of the way to work 8-)

PLUS they cost £2 a time if you dont have an Oyster card (which i dont).. £2 will get me about 15 miles in my polo !!

I know what you are going through Kam.

I hate not having a car

Kids only fuck about because they know there untouchable.

Randoms can do anything to them cause there young. Police can't do anything cause there young. Parents can't do anything cause there sat in a corner shooting up smack and couldn't give to shits what there little bastards are doing.

Orange in a sock. Show them whos boss without leaving any marks on them ;)

Hahah Put a Orange in a sock .. Thats a good idea there !

1 day i think i will just prise 1 of there phones from there hands smash the thing so the Niche stops and then pound the little bastard through he seat and throw him out of the rear window ...

Ahhh that would be the day !

Being a Bus driver myself i find this thread highly amusing.

I imagine you have almost the same grivences about busses as ourselves ..

Mainly school kids and Old senial people i would guess ..

I have the car back now.

Was chatting to some guy at VW who was 68 and was pimping about in an black R32

Guys a legend!!

bus from my house to town 1 hour costs 5.20 return in car 15min

worst thing i have seen on the bus

10am ish drunk woman is sick all over herself mostly water starts running up and down the bus was minging

I get my moneys worth out of public transport in Leeds...if I'm paying £2.50 for the all day ticket as they dont do returns i will get lost and go on 5 buses before i reach my flat...I'm not joking either i really do get wrong buses an awful lot...i perhaps should get my sense of direction checked out.

Buses here arent great but they arent as bad as the ones in Preston....i get them when i have to...i have to here as no polo and I'm not a fan of using my legs for transport purposes.

Doug you might want to get a railcard mate..i only pay £10 return from Leeds, and thats direct too.

yeah railcard would only knock about 2quid off my fare

just gonna pay for parking after xmas at my halls and drive to and from home

:D

Haha here is a good one for you.

Couldnt be arsed to walk into uni 2day, so thought bugga it ill use the bus.

Waited for one at the bus stop close to me, didnt turn up.

Went to the next bus stop, that bus didnt turn up.

So after an hour and a bit of waiting i decided to walk in.

On the way back my house mate decided to make a complaint so we went to their office. Waited around for a while in the office, noticed the phone was ringing constantly, thought bit strange no one to answer it.

After 10 mins a very old lady staggers out, and informs us that she cant hear very well and we will have to write our problem down.

By this time we realise why we had legs, much easier.

Says something about public transport.

Ha check it out. Driving a diesel estate is almost like a bus. Force of habit?
