Hey All

Mate of mine has mullered the front end of her MK4 now the bumper etc isn't a problem as i could get them from the scrappy but the wing has been badly damaged and pushed right back bending the base and i wanted to no how are the wings are attached to the car. Are they just bolted on or welded ??

there bolted but i had to heat mine up a bit to get it off

Ok cool, Is it just the bolts that run along the top or are there more ?

two inside the arch which go into the bulkhead,,the obvious ones along the top and two behing the front bumper,,,should be gunked on too so give it a good pull.

Thanks chaps, I want to take it off because it looks like the actual body of the car where the wing sits has been bent meaning a BIG pain in the ass lol.

Yea, been there! Did mine in a year ago...mud, wet road, bad mood and 50mph. Not smart. M'eh!

Yea, wing is pretty easy to sort, and the supports behind can usually be bent back, depending on how bad obv, but you can get it looking like a Dub again! Honest!
