just discovered some holes in the floor

Featured Replies

my dad was doing some work on my car (cant keep him off it ) and he pulled up the carpet on the drivers side to discover 3 small drilled holes in the floor. i think the previous owner must have some this as there was a leak when i got the car and the carpet was drenshed. obviously these are prone to rusting so he rubbed them down and painted over.

but are there any other problems that could occur?

thanks

If it isn't rusty and it has not affected the strength of it i don't see why it could make a huge difference. Make sure your dad covers any little bit of bare metal as it will rust like buggery if not. Not the best location for holes :-) Try and get him to fill them with something for a little bit more water protection. Unless they massive gaping holes they sould be fine. Wouldn't hurt filling them!!

DO IT!!!!

Also maybe doing some car work on the weekend if you wanna come and join!! MrP de cat time!!
