I have had a few pm's asking about the car in my avatar and asking for photos. Here it is! It was owned by my dad and was sold a couple of years back - i just used to do the driving part (hard life ay).

I know it's not gonna be most peoples cuppa tea, but may appeal to some...

ECU, Cams and throttle bodies! The other Polo challenge rally car were group N, we just uprated engine after challenge finished!!

Yeah Jenvey TB's, Kent cams and i think it was an Emerald ECU. Went well enough

140bhp is good, was that limited to that power for competition use, could more power be had out of it

because a door card weighs about the same as a piece of fluff?

I think it's a common misconception that race cars are totally stripped...then people go and remove everything from their interior...even the dash. If you look at ALOT of race cars they'll still have some form of dash board and door cards etc.
