boot popper on mk4 polo...

Featured Replies

thinking of getting the full tailgate smoothed, so that would mean taking the handle away etc... has anyone ever fitted a boot popper so there is a button on your dash, when you press it, it opens the boot?

pics appreciated.

cheers

just how to go about it, where does it fit onto?

Kind of hard to explain really, but there is bars with holes going across the inside of my boot anyway (mk5) should be the same really in the mk4, Just take the plastic cover and have a look. You sort of have to adjust it into place to make sure it is pulling the latch straight, and has enough power to pull it. Took me weeks of messing about with it, to get it almost working properly, the bodyshop i gave it to had a quick look at it and it works everytime now without fail :-D,

Does that help? let me know if you need anymore info ;)
