fitted new seats in the polo today was a bit emotional but its done now..... thanks to phil for finding the seats for me and collecting them ! spot on. pics are a bit dodgy !

great conversion! how did you find the swop ok? or not to be attempted again in a while?

Haha finally =] Well y'day he didn't want to carry on and was going to sell them, So dunno how hard that is.

to be fair it wasn't to bad! wouldnt want to do it again for a while ..... but would do it again if i had to! they fit perfectly to the way i want to sit to drive it, so pretty happy.

no if you do that it makes the headrest touch the ceiling! i dont know if it was the right way to do it or not! but i just fabricated a subframe from scratch to work with the tt runners... completely forgot about the polo subframes .... and tracks and mounts in the car .... the way i done it i could make the seat fit how i wanted it to-height etc.

TT seats look so right in a 6n, good job dude!

lol... i've already thought of a better way of doing it! if i had to do it again.... always the way though...... ahh well .

thanks for all the feedback... keeps my enthusiasm levels up lol.

As talking to Dave about them yesterday, I wouldn't just bodge them onto the polo runners because if you crashed and it ended out to be dodgy seating that seriously injured you/passenger you would feel seriously bad about trying to cut corners.
