if you have an older car and you haven't already done so, get the box rebuilt the difference is unreal.

Good stuff! There can't be much left you want to do with this now apart from drive it? I recall you mentioning a respray a short while ago, but it looks spot on to me.

well its all sorted and it wasnt easy. we spent the best part of 90 mins just trying to get the lambda out of the down pipe. in the end it had to come off and be smashed off!!

Wouldn't fancy doing it in-situ, but not bad when the down pipe's off the car though. I just lay the pipe on it's side on the ground and stand on the spanner.

The rebuild must have given the 'box a new lease of life then? I quite wanted mine replaced along with the clutch (rebuilding a 4 speeder doesn't make much financial sense) and this makes me want it more so!

its running pretty sweet apart from a fucked battery this morning. but it has been sitting for almost a month so its fair enough. so a new battery too!

Unlucky. The price of lead is going up and the cost of batteries is supposed to rising sharply too, but what can you do?

OEM Hero

Nice one Dan, might have to try and blag a go in it again at the RR day! ;)
