They're off to be blasted on saturday... not sure what colour they'll be yet!

where did you go to get these done mate, i wanna go for the retro wide steelies and like the slight deep dish youve got on them. did they check whether they were balanced and everything or just literally chuck a strip of metal in there. cost aswell roughly?? ta

A chap on retro-rides had them done for me. He's done loads for stock cars etc and has them all jigged up so they're bang on. They should be pretty well balanced but obviously they'll be properly balanced once i've got tyres on them.

Nope they don't have the cert etc. but from what i've seen of his work they are of equal quality. He doesn't have the expensive equipment that kris does AFAIK but he makes up for it with years of experience!

They are 13x7 front and 13x8 rear :) Offset is most definately affected! They're now ET18 front and ET6 rear. If you want the offset to stay the same you need to have bands added bath infront and behind the centre.

They are the way forward but if it was me i would rather know they were all properly balanced.

Always thought these wheels deserved a little extra girth!

Shot blasting £20... 4 litres of filler primer, £20.

Carriage to and from Wide-wheels would have been £50 whereas this chap is located just down the road from where my dad works.

For me it was the best option, If you live up north then WW would probably be more sensible. Also for me the certificate isn't that much of an issue.

get them on the car and take pictures! they do look very cool. want some done for mine, but aint gots the money. now I've started a new job, might start to save a bit here and there.
