Hi all wanting a gear box for a polo 6n 1.4 8v the MPI one help with were i can get one if none are upfor sale

If you know the code, there may be others that have the same ratios.

If the box is off the car, it's stamped in the top of the bellhousing between the top 2 mounting bolt holes. If it's still on the car, there may be a build label in the boot somewhere. Alternatively, you could ring up your local dealers and they should be able to tell you from the registration or chassis number.

am breaking a '97 polo 1.4 mpi and will have the box out today,shall look for the code for you.....is your box a rod change box or cable?? laters joe
